I agree 100%. A few more inconsistencies, why didn’t the creature sink in the corn like the 60 pound kids. It sure must be exhausting building and maintaining all those sand and ash trails. Why doesn’t he want to take the kids to the only safe place, the noisy river. WTF is a nail doing in the middle of a stair face up, her getting ready to deliver a baby wasn’t enough of a problem but she of course steps on the nail. He’s smart enough to wire up about 50 video cameras but doesn’t have the common sense to hook up a bunch of air horns or car horns he can remotely trigger anytime the creatures come around? This movie is for morons… Is what sucks the most is the acting was great and the premise of creatures hunting by sound is interesting. However the plot of this movie is just terrible and ruins the whole thing.
